How much can I sue for?

How much can I sue for?  Part of the answer lies in a federal statute, the 1991 Civil Rights Act, which defines damages based on the number of employees.  Part of the answer lies in your facts and whether or not an employment attorney believes she can make a case for discrimination etc.  You need to contact an employment lawyer to really find out how much you can sue for.  This is not an easy answer to provide, as an attorney needs to investigate the facts and locate available legal claims. Then you need to consider suing your employer or just negotiating a settlement, which is cheaper.
