Christopher S. Avcollie concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law and litigation. He has represented numerous individual clients by negotiating severance agreements, non-competition agreements, licensing agreements, and other employment and business contracts. Christopher S. Avcollie has also developed expertise in employment litigation matters including breach of employment contract, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, civil service claims, employment discrimination, FMLA violations, and First Amendment retaliation claims.  Christopher S. Avcollie focuses on understanding his client’s needs and delivering cost-effective results.

Christopher S. Avcollie is admitted to practice in Connecticut state courts and the District of Connecticut. He was born and raised in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and currently resides in Middlebury. Christopher S. Avcollie earned his undergraduate degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Connecticut in 2002 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is also a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2008. Christopher S. Avcollie is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Military Police Officer.
